A website for a coffee shop: order ahead, a coffee card on the phone and "open now"

A coffee shop website needs three things a customer can do from a phone: order ahead and pay, collect stamps for a free drink, and see whether the shop is open right now. Our live demo, Ledgeline Coffee, does all three today, and we build a cafe's own version free from your work order in 2 to 3 business days; the website itself then costs $30 a month with everything in it.

For you, that means you can show a cafe owner the finished thing in five minutes and charge your own fee for setting it up and looking after it.

Why it matters to you

What a cafe owner asks for

  • Order ahead. Every drink and pastry is a product in the site's own store, with a photo, a price and its own page; the customer pays and picks it up. The cafe connects its own payment account.
  • A coffee card on the phone. Nine stamps, then a drink on the house; the barista stamps it by typing the shop code. Nothing to install. The card is kept in the customer's browser on that phone.
  • "Open now". The visit page says whether the shop is open right now, in the shop's own time zone, with the week's hours a tap away.
  • Beans and a subscription. Whole beans and a monthly bean club sold online, with roast notes.
  • Catering and events. A catering form with a delivery time from the appointment calendar, and an open-mic sign-up form.
  • Answers at 10 PM. The site's AI concierge answers questions about the menu, hours, milk options and beans from the site's own facts.
  • Gift cards, a QR code for the counter and an app on customers' phones, built in: every iNterGine site installs on a phone like an app; try it on the demo.

What the customer sees, on a phone

The Ledgeline Coffee home page on a phone: Good coffee, a harbor view, with an Order ahead button and three steps
1. Home: order ahead in three taps.
The Ledgeline coffee card on a phone: nine stamp circles, a free drink, and a shop code box for the barista
2. The coffee card.
The Ledgeline visit page on a phone: a map of Belfast, Maine, and an Open now sign with today's closing time
3. Open now, in the shop's time.

A five-minute walk-through for the meeting: hand your phone over on the demo's home page; open the menu and put a latte in the cart (do not pay); scroll to the coffee card and stamp it with the demo's shop code, 2468 (it is printed under the card); show the open-now sign on Visit; then show the demo tour. Ledgeline is a fictitious shop in a real town, Belfast, Maine, and its photos were made with the site's own picture AI: say so when you show it.

Money

What it costs the cafe, and what you earn

We build the website free from your work order, in 2 to 3 business days. The website then costs $360 a year ($30 a month), with everything in it: online store, booking, forms, blog, members area, phone app and SEO tools. Your set-up fee and your monthly care fee come on top, and you keep all of it; iNterGine takes no cut. How to set them: how much to charge for a small business website.

Fair is fair

Where something else may fit better

  • Cafes whose point-of-sale system already runs their online orders and loyalty (with kitchen tickets and the till joined up) should keep it; their website can link to it.
  • The coffee card lives in one browser. A customer who changes phones or clears the browser starts a new card; a loyalty scheme tied to an account or the till does not have that limit.
  • Owners who want to design every detail themselves may prefer Wix's editor and template library.

Questions

Questions cafe owners ask

Can we use our own menu, prices and photos?

Yes. The work order asks for the menu, prices, hours and photos; the demo's drinks and pictures are only examples.

How do order-ahead payments work?

Through the site's own checkout, once the cafe connects a payment gateway such as PayPal. The demo stops before payment.

Can we set our own shop code and number of stamps?

Yes. We set your shop code and the number of stamps when we build your site; the demo uses 2468 and nine stamps. To change them later, ask your webmaster.

How long until the site is live?

We build it in 2 to 3 business days from the work order.
